We've had a mortgage with C&G for 10 years now and we've never had an issue with them. We have a brilliant rate with them and when we needed a consent to let they made the process really easy

We recently too out a mortgage with Leeds and although we got a good rate and a decent loan to value ratio the process took an exceedingly long time and felt like we had to jump through a lot of hoops

I've been with Santander for a few years and never had any issues. Their app is really easy to use and I get a really good rate of cash back on my 123 account.

We recently set up a mortgage with Leeds. Good points - they gave us a decent rate with a low deposit which helped us buy our dream house! Downsides - everything took forever, I mean months to sort out and they didn't set up our mortgage payments properly.
Having said that the people on the phone are helpful and polite

I opened the 1-2-3 account with Santander and was happy with it until the upped the fee and lowered the interests. It was costing me to have the account so I called and they switched me to the light version which is cheaper and I still get a decent cashback rate. People on the phone are always helpful
