About 7 years ago I relocated from NL to UK.

About 7 years ago I relocated from NL to UK. My savings were NL accounts in Euro but I needed GBP for everyday spending. A credit card would be very helpful for unforeseen but I was rejected by several as I had no UK history. Then I found LoqBox and followed their (then free) program. After a year they offered me a credit card and I successfully applied. Now I have excellent credit history with several credit cards. Reviewed on: 4th August 2026

Review of the Saga, Travel insurance:

Quick refund and re-offer

We booked an ocean cruise with the offered travel insurrance. My wife was lucky that an operation she was not yet schedulled for, was offered early. Informing SAGA of this instantly invalidated the insurrance (fully healed but less than 3 months between operation and cruise). The premium was refunded and a new insurrance offered.
