Reply from Harpenden Building Society Thanks you for your feedback, and I'm sorry to understand you are unhappy with the pricing of our products- specifically branch based accounts. The majority of our products are E-enabled. This means that a customer can both apply and manage their accounts through our online system or use our branch network. As such, there is no price differentiation on these products. We do however have some Online Only products, and these are priced to represent the limited access and distribution of this product and for customers who are happy to apply and manage their accounts through our online platform only. We have and are continuing to make significant changes across the savings range, and as a result the majority of our savers are getting a higher than average savings rate.
