Chip Smart Cash ISA.

I have had a Cash ISA with them for a while. Today I got an email from telling me that they were significantly reducing the Interest Rate, but that I could transfer to their new Smart Cash ISA - same features but a higher Interest Rate. That's what I call good Customer Service Reviewed on: 11th June 2026

Great Current Account, great service and no issues.

In well over 10 years with first direct I have never had any issues with their 1st Account (a current account). It comes with free borrowing up to £250 - very useful - as well as the option of a Regular Saver Account into which you can save between £25 and £300 per month for a year and it pays an unbeatable 7% Interest. Great App, great Interest Rates.

Very easy App to use and Interest Rates are amongst the best. Didn't win anything, but I like the idea of the Prize Draw Account. Reviewed on: 21st February 2024
