Bupa is the worst insurance service I have ever experienced. I would not recommend it. One of the biggest surprises was finding out that they don’t provide online doctor consultations in Europe. This isn’t made clear before you book an appointment. Only after I had booked did the doctor tell me that they couldn’t help me because the service doesn’t cover patients in Europe. That was shocking, especially since my Level 4 plan is supposed to provide European coverage. Another issue is that. I had a Level 4 plan with two different companies, but the benefits were completely different. In my experience, Bupa is quick to take your money but very reluctant to provide actual treatment. Instead of helping, they often tell you to see your GP or go to the emergency ! even for something like the flu. That defeats the purpose of paying for private health insurance. Be very careful before choosing this insurance. Make sure you fully understand what is and isn’t covered, as the reality may be very different from what you expect. Reviewed on: 3rd August 2026

Do not ever apply for finance through Creation Consumer Finance based on my experience. I am a landlord, earn around £70,000 a year, have never missed a payment, and have always worked hard to maintain an excellent credit history. My credit score was very strong before I applied. I applied only once for iPhone finance. The application was declined, a hard search was recorded, and my credit score dropped dramatically afterwards. When I contacted Creation, they told me they could not tell me the specific reason for the decision and could not remove the search. After years of paying every bill on time and maintaining a spotless payment record, I feel that all my hard work was damaged by a single application that resulted in no finance being provided. If keeping a strong credit profile is important to you, think very carefully before applying. My experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. Reviewed on: 11th June 2026
