Interest Free Loan

Having the option of making payments for a purchase spread so that the initial payment is followed by a similar payment a month later, with the final similar payment a further month later, is the welcome equivalent of enjoying an interest free loan for two months. Reviewed on: 26th May 2026

Life saving advice and practise

End of mortgage favourable terms and redundancy coincided with credit crunch. I was despondent about my future and had dark thoughts. Contacting StepChange was literally a lifesaver. A realistic workable, affordable plan was put in place and gave me an end date for my debts. Reviewed on: 8th June 2025
