I would not recommend anyone taking out SSE boiler breakdown cover due to my recent experience. I had 9 days of ringing up SSE to try and resolve my boiler issue with having no hot water. SSE are now soley reliant on sub-contractors to fix their customers boiler problems and their customer service is very poor when it comes to getting a reliable engineer out to you. Communication is terrible and management refuse to speak with you although they are all to quick to take you're money for the call out charge.
