Highly recommended

I want to provide some feedback on the Finance advice and planning services I received from David Gow at Acumen Financial Planning. I initially contacted David about 6 years ago for a pension review, at that time I needed to understand if I was on track for my retirement or if I needed to take any further actions. I met up with David and was very impressed by the clarity of the advice, professionalism and how approachable he was. David carried out a detailed analysis of my finances and life plans alongside gaining an understanding of my relative priorities and highlighted areas that I hadn’t considered. All of my options were presented back and walked through in a way that was easy to understand. This was helped by the investment in good technology which brought the numbers to life. I left feeling reassured and confident that I had a robust plan in place. More recently when I faced a number of challenges when a shift in my life plans left me a bit lost financially David was able to pick up the multitude of elements, make sense of them and play back a new scenario that gave me a financial way forward. It’s easy to underestimate the weight that is lifted when you know you have a good plan in place and someone as competent as David is watching over it for you. I place a very high value on the services provided David has consistently demonstrated excellent knowledge, clear thinking, client focus and a great ability to translate and present information in a usable way I initially selected Acumen Financial Services based on the excellent reviews and the high number of industry awards they had received. Now I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the services based on my own person experiences and fully understand why the reviews are so good and the awards so plentiful. Reviewed on: 6th April 2023
