Don't be fair.

The only time l wanted to claim after being with golf care for over 10 years was when a carry bag strap gave out, the bag tipped up and my driver shaft fractured.Trying to be absolutely fair l bought a second hand shaft off eBay for £50, but didn't claim for the carry bag as it was a few years old. I expected to just be reimbursed for the driver shaft, but was told we don't owe you nothing as there is a £50 excess charge per claim. I was disappointed because l could have bought a brand new driver shaft for £90 and claimed £130 for a new carry bag. That would have been a £220 total claim, less £50 excess totalling £170.. A good deed never goes unpunished! Trying to be totally fair did not do me any favours, a lesson learned.This critique will probably exclude me from winning any prize draw, hey ho.
