Terrible company - DO NOT USE THEM!

First deal resulted in £400pcm more (compared to the nearest competitor) for 24 months and then £10,000 to be released early - in total, approx. £20,000 more than I should have paid. Second deal resulted in £100pcm more throughout the 5 year period and approx. £5000 to be released early - in total, approx. £10,000 more (this was a few years ago when interest rates were at their lowest level in history). mortgage advisor (clearly more competent) was horrified that I was on such a poor deal as I have an excellent credit history and a good job. I would advise anyone reading this, PLEASE PLEASE do not use this company. They clearly push the products that will generate the best commission and returns for themselves and their company, at the extortionate cost to their clients. The people who sourced these ludicrous deals for me were Angela Wharton / Sharon Duckworth. I have taken this to the Ombudsman, however, they are easily able to justify their actions with proof but it doesn't mean that clients always understand and/or read everything that they have been told. In addition, they have a very arrogant attitude and have no intention of dealing with customer complaints. AVOID!!!!!! Read more Read less

    Extortionate - ripoff company

They clearly push the products that will generate the best commission and returns for themselves and their company, at the extortionate cost to their clients. Most reasonable people reading this would be extremely annoyed and angry if they had to pay £30,000 more over 5 years, especially at a time when the cost of living is rising dramatically. The people who sourced these ludicrous deals for me were Angela Wharton and Sharon Duckworth. I have taken this to the Financial Ombudsman, however, they are easily able to justify their actions with proof but it doesn't mean that clients always understand and/or read everything that they have been told by the employees of this company. I should also point out that, this company are not present on TrustPilot - probably due to the fact that they don't want genuine clients to post reviews regarding their incompetence. I'm sure the other reviews are not genuine. I also, asked for COPIES of the final response to my complaint on 30/05/2022 but received no response THE FIRST TIME - I think this was because they wished to wait until after the six month period so it would be more difficult to complain to the OMBUDSMAN! I am a professional with a good stable job and she found the worse possible mortgage deal (which will cost me £25,000 extra over the 5 yrs FIXED term). When I complained, she simply said that this was the best she could do and Sharon Duckworth (Company Director) was also no help. MY current mortgage advisor was appalled that I am paying so much extra (i.e. my monthly payments are double what they should have been). The exit fee is so extortionate that it's not even worth changing and paying the penalty. I am furious yet there is nothing I can do, although I may complaint to the Financial Conduct Authority. I notice that this company are not even on TrustPilot (possible because they are aware that they are a poor company and would rather not be present on a wide platform for others to see. My advice - use someone else unless you like paying double monthly payments for your mortgage. Read more Read less
