Terrible company - DO NOT USE THEM!

Terrible company - DO NOT USE THEM!!! First deal resulted in £400pcm more (compared to the nearest competitor) for 24 months and then £10,000 to be released early - in total, approx. £20,000 more than I should have paid. Second deal resulted in £100pcm more throughout the 5 year period and approx. £5000 to be released early - in total, approx. £10,000 more (this was a few years ago when interest rates were at their lowest level in history). mortgage advisor (clearly more competent) was horrified that I was on such a poor deal as I have an excellent credit history and a good job. I would advise anyone reading this, PLEASE PLEASE do not use this company. They clearly push the products that will generate the best commission and returns for themselves and their company, at the extortionate cost to their clients. The people who sourced these ludicrous deals for me were Angela Wharton / Sharon Duckworth. I have taken this to the Ombudsman, however, they are easily able to justify their actions with proof but it doesn't mean that clients always understand and/or read everything that they have been told. In addition, they have a very arrogant attitude and have no intention of dealing with customer complaints. AVOID!!!!!! Reviewed on: 5th July 2024

Extortionate - ripoff company

Second deal resulted in £100pcm more that I should have paid throughout the 5 year period and approx. £5000 to be released early - in total, approx. £10,000 more than I should have paid. My current mortgage advisor (who is clearly much more competent) was horrified that I was on such a poor deal as I have an excellent credit history and a good job. I would advise anyone reading this, PLEASE PLEASE do not use this company. They clearly push the products that will generate the best commission and returns for themselves and their company, at the extortionate cost to their clients. Most reasonable people reading this would be extremely annoyed and angry if they had to pay £30,000 more over 5 years, especially at a time when the cost of living is rising dramatically. The people who sourced these ludicrous deals for me were Angela Wharton and Sharon Duckworth. I have taken this to the Financial Ombudsman, however, they are easily able to justify their actions with proof but it doesn't mean that clients always understand and/or read everything that they have been told by the employees of this company. I should also point out that, this company are not present on TrustPilot - probably due to the fact that they don't want genuine clients to post reviews regarding their incompetence. I'm sure the other reviews are not genuine. I also, asked for COPIES of the final response to my complaint on 30/05/2022 but received no response THE FIRST TIME - I think this was because they wished to wait until after the six month period so it would be more difficult to complain to the OMBUDSMAN! Extortionate - ripoff company

Wow just look at all the negative reviews. Almost 50:50 for good and bad (most likely the 50% good reviews are from relatives and friends of people who work at this rip off company). I had a mortgage deal (sourced by another useless company called KEY MORTGAGE ADVICE in Preston and Southport, whom I also recommend NOT using ) which resulted in £800pcm over 5 years rather than £400pcm and a penalty payment of approx.£8000 if you wished to be released early). At the time, I was in a rush and told that this was the best deal so I reluctantly agreed (although I have an excellent job and excellent credit history). This company are ludicrously expensive and my mortgage advisors since (3 to be exact) were horrified that this was such a poor deal especially as the interest rates were so low at the time. I could have had a capital repayment for cheaper and paid off some of the capital throughout the 5 year period). DO NOT USE this ROGUE company. I hope people read these reviews and have the sense not to use them - they shouldn't be in business. I have used a different name for review purposes. Reviewed on: 4th August 2022
