Apart from them not being able to deal with all the lenders or change the lender once it was too late even if a better interest rate came along, L&C were helpful, knowledgeable and informative and did offer good value for money. They do make remortgaging a lot less stressful than it could be if you were doing it all yourself. Reviewed on: 4th February 2026

Excellent tailored, impartial, fee-free advice helped my family and I move from a small four bedroom house to our dream home. I was advised to port my mortgage, saving me money, not having to pay Early Repayment charges. If only L&C did surveying and conveyancing! Reviewed on: 4th February 2026

Really good experience with L&C. They were very attentive, provided the right service and also did it in a timely manner. They also explained the process of buying a house very well and reassured us when we were feeling unsure or didn’t quite understand something. Reviewed on: 4th February 2026

We had a great experience with L&C Mortgages from start to finish. The process was handled quickly and efficiently, and everything was explained clearly at each stage. Communication was excellent our advisor was always responsive, easy to deal with, and kept us updated throughout. It made what can be a stressful process feel straightforward and well managed. Extremely easy, the help I received whilst going through the process of making the most expensive purchase of my life was second to none, I literally recommend to everyone. When I buy my next house I will use again 100%. People talk about customer service etc but this was next level, nothing was too much, when you are dealing with someone who genuinely cares it makes the whole process a lot less stressful.
