I got the Halifax Clarity credit card to use abroad some years ago, which is good because it avoids fees taking out cash etc abroad, but I don't go abroad that often and last time I did, I tried to use it and they hadn't sent me a new one after it had expired, or even warned me it was expiring, so I was stuck.
