Maturing account delay

My investment account was due to mature, email rec'd from SBS, info returned by email to complete closure and clear instructions. 4 days later a male telephoned to confirm and check everything. All was in place. The maturity date arrived of closure & opening of a replacement new savings account and nothing happened. I lost 3 days interest, used the SBS website to ask what was happening and received a poor reply, not understanding the issue. I had to telephone and a female put things right and proceeded with the closure and started a new account. I should have have had to do all this. It was poor customer service.
