A habit that changed my life.

I needed a loan and felt I had little chance of getting one. My daughter said try the Credit Union. I applied, everything was done on line, and I got a much needed loan. They recommend I open a savings account which I did, just to save a small regular amount as well as pay the loan back. Long after the loan was paid back, I carried on saving, still do today. I started with the credit union by getting a much needed loan. When that was paid off, I continued to save the amount I had been using to pay off the loan with. I had never saved money before and it came in very handy for bills, birthdays etc I had to reduce the amount I was saving due to the cost of living but I still save a bit and just forget about it until I need it. The Central Credit Union is brilliant, it helps people like myself a carer, who are forced to live on a small amount of money. Reviewed on: 18th June 2024
