I took our Starling card away with us to Japan. Not only could we pay and use it like a debit card back home but we could also withdraw cash each day, all without paying a fee! The app let me know about each purchase and topping it up was a doddle. It transformed our holiday and meant we didn't have to worry about money when abroad. And to think we had to use travellers cheques in the past! Reviewed on: 7th December 2018
