A bank for me.

I have several traditional banking apps which i have used for a while. My daughter introduced me to starling bank and it highlighted a problem with all the others. They have developed from an old fashioned website and seem clunky and difficult. My main one, 1st direct is awful with all the codes and black and white starkness. Everything had to be 'found'. Starling feels like it's been designed for me not them. Easy to access but very secure. The security is mainly in my hands. The way it shows graphically my spending, income, saving goals etc is perfectly done. Really the old banks had to build phone apps to keep up but it was a compromise. Starling have started from the right place building a banking app that's a joy. A1 Reviewed on: 8th December 2018
