The Best Bank Period!

This is the future of banking, the bank is so good that it makes the high street banks seem like they are still stuck in the stone age. I recommend Starling to everyone. I now have a personal and 2 business accounts and will never go back to a high street bank. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2021

Showing Traditional Banks how its done!

I opened a Starling account 6 months ago, and have been impressed with how quickly the account opened initially. Instant notifications are so convenient, account management is so easy all from your phone. The ease of use is fantastic, all the features from the traditional banks plus much more, better exchange rates, seamless setting up of direct debits plus the ease of payments that are instant. All of this all from an app on your phone. The only issue used to be depositing cash, which had to be done through a Natwest bank, now even that has been resolved and you can deposit cash at any post office and all for FREE!!! (Take note traditional old fashioned banks). But what really makes Starling stand out is their customer service. I had a new card sent to me recently to allow me to deposit cash through the post office. I had an issue where I had updated my new card details on my Amazon account, but was sent an email saying my payment had been declined. I went on to the Starling App at 10.50PM on a SATURDAY evening and requested a call back. At 10.59PM I received a call back from one of their UK based agents (Adam was his name) who was very polite, courteous and professional, who talked me through the issue and informed me that Amazon were still trying to take payment from my old card, so I needed to contact Amazon to ask them to rectify that. I had already changed the details on my Amazon account. So the issue was actually not a Starling problem, but an Amazon problem, which I then resolved by calling them. But the standout thing here is this was all done at 11PM on a SATURDAY NIGHT and resolved in less than 5 mins. There is NO traditional high street UK bank that could have done at that time and day. Not only that it usually takes longer than that to try and even get hold of a traditional bank, by being stuck in a que on the phone. Traditional banks just can not even touch the level of control and customer service that Starling has to offer to the point that with the exception of my mortgage I no longer use anything other that Starling for my personal and business accounts. I recommend them to all my friends & family, so if anyone reading this is fed up of their usual bank you really need to open a Starling account and see how much better they are.
