Review of the Caravan Guard, Caravan insurance:

Impeccable Service, Great Value.

I switched to Caravan Guard in 2024 after 8 years with my previous provider affilliated to one of the main clubs. When my caravan was damaged in Cherbourg ferry port in France due to no fault of mine my previous provider messed me about and didn't recoup anything from the port authority saying it was difficult to deal with the French since Brexit! This has left me with an at fault claim on my previously clean record which hiked my renewal price considerably. I approached Caravan Guard and despite the blemish on my record beat the renewal price of my provider at the time. The price has now reduced by over £200 since 2024 for a new for old policy which offers exceptional cover. I recently received an invitation to insure with my previous provider which I completed but, neglected to mention the claim I had in 2024 as I had no intention of returning to them. Despite this, they were still £10 dearer than Caravan Guard's renewal price! Caravan Guard are easy to contact by phone, I have never had to wait for more than a couple of minutes to speak to an advisor who are always polite and efficient. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Caravan Guard to anyone looking for insurance for their touring caravan, campervan or motorhome. Reviewed on: 5th August 2026

PayPal, My Go To Choice Of Payment Method.

I have been using PayPal as my preferred method of paying for online purchases and services for over twenty years. PayPal credit is a facillity I use for larger purchases to ease the cost and with zero percent interest it makes complete sense. Top Notch Cover and Excellent Value For Money.

I discovered Caravan Guard after I received the renewal for my caravan insurance from my insurance provider for 9 years. The renewal had gone up significantly. I found Caravan Guard gives excellent value for money with no decrease in the level of cover I want. Customer services is easy to contact and the people I've spoken to are friendly and efficient.
