Dreadful claims process - needs FCA investigation

Quite possibly the worst home insurer I have ever encountered. We have unfortunately had to claim twice in 5yrs - (i) escaping water - this claim took 11 months to resolve, and ultimately cost AXA more than the quotes due to the incompetence of our claims handler ("BP"); (ii) a car drove into our boundary wall - BP requested two local quotes prior to concluding that they were overcharging for materials - a matter which is out of our control and quotes reflective of the area we live in. We are yet to see the matter resolved after 3 months with BP claiming they can only cover the cost they have calculated (£2k less than the quotations). I am complaining to the FCA due to unfair customer treatment. Luckily for me, I have now changed home insurer for any future issues - I would recommend you do the same!
