Best Financial Aggregator

I have used a number of financial aggregators over a long period of time. They have never quite hit the mark, particularly as I need them to fit in with my wider financial management workflow. When I stumbled across MoneyHub I thought I would try it out to see if it was better than the others I had experienced. While I have only been using for a month so far, it has surpassed my expectations. It allows me to bring in all the financial information I care about across disparate services into one place, making it not only convenient but I can manage this well with the functionality they provide to integrate into my own tools. The automation for the most part works well. Unfortunately, not all financial institutions appear to use open banking, which is a shame. These are the ones that understandably fail a little more regularly, as I am sure the app needs to scrape data behind the scenes. In addition, MFA does reduce the ability to scrape these without manual intervention. However, this is a minor challenge for me as the main current accounts that I would like monitoring more often do use open banking, so it's very smooth. On the few occasions I have reached out to MoneyHub to ask questions, provide feedback and/or raise an issue they have been very responsive. Therefore, my overall experience of this has been great so far. It is also highly advantageous to have a website as well as an app, which makes interacting far easier in some circumstances. A lot of other providers seem to think we only want to use apps these days, which in my mind feels a little short sighted. Anyway, great stuff and look forward to seeing how the service evolves. If they continue I will certainly be paying but I would still call this a trial period. Reviewed on: 14th January 2025
