Rollover procedure

It must have been my error but I recently rolled over a bond. I had intended to roll the principal and have the interest paid to another of my accounts. I managed to roll the principal less the interest amount again so therefore received my interest plus an identical amount at my other bank, I would have thought this would have seemed a strange request and maybe there could be some manual intervention where maybe somebody should contact me to check my instructions were correct.
