Total waste of time

Got a great renewal quote on GoCompare so after my existing insurance supplier couldn't quite match it I called GoSkippy to go ahead on the quote. I had mistakenly noted my renewal date as 1 day later than it was so when I asked to change it by one day they put the quote up by £250! despite no other changes to the policy details other than wanting to pay them a day earlier they would not correct this absurd increase and the lady on the phone could not see how ridiculous this was...
