Review of the Triodos Bank, Cash ISA:

Choose sustainability and positivity

In my view, rating a financial product on value for money basis should become an outdate concept. I may earn more interest on a cash ISA with another less ethical bank, but I would find it much harder to sleep at night. Triodos Bank have a cast-iron commitment to ethical investment, This is important in a world that is more in need of providing choices that are sustainable and have positive effects for people and communities. For instance, the money from my ISA goes to organisations that produce renewable energy thereby reducing CO2. Triodos also have a commitment to transparency, which means you can find out where your money is going and what impact it is having on the world. My hope is that early adopters eventually become lost in the crowds. As far as the practicalities are concerned, the Triodos website very easy to navigate, and their newsletters are always interesting and informative, without bombarding you with spam.
