Pitiful savings rate

1
Savings rate is pitiful with Halifax, with many better options available. Makes me question Halifax commitment to rewarding customers, possibly exploiting their reputation as a trusted high street brand. Reviewed on: 6th February 2025

Solid savings account

5
Savings account is easy to set up and operate through the Plum app which is clearly set out and easy to understand. Rate is competitive but could be even more generous, given disparity between savings rate and cash ISA rate. Reviewed on: 6th February 2025

Accessible and clear

5
App is easy to use and understand, with balance and transactions presented clearly. Not convinced by the AI element to the app, which sends multiple notifications which are too frequent. Reviewed on: 6th February 2025

Reliable but lacking competitive edge

3
Current account is readily accessible using the Halifax app which is easy to use and transact with. However, pitiful interest rate and bank does not reward loyal customers. Products do not seem competitive or innovative. Reviewed on: 6th February 2025

Highly recommended

5
Product terms easy to understand and clearly set out. Day to day savings management easy through the Chase app. Rate has been very competitive, particularly with the introductory bonus. Would highly recommend. Reviewed on: 6th February 2025
