Incredible broker and assistants - communicated information in a clear and easy to understand way for a first time buyer and always kept in touch (even on non work days!). Better is a fun website with a timeline showing where you are in the process, has easy access to your mortgage terms and simple to upload and store your documents. I had a difficult time applying for a mortgage as a contract worker but my Broker had my back the whole time, called on my behalf and ultimately got me my mortgage. Even after that when i had trouble completing the flat purchase, through no fault of my own, I asked my Broker for help and she immediately got people on the case. She called Nationwide and managed to get a mortgage offer extension, TWICE! Ended up completing on the very last day! Got there in the end, wouldn't have been possible without the team at Better.
