Good quick offer but overly complicated by legal team.

Good quick mortgage offer, and quick responses but the process got unnecessarily confusing surrounding recent building works that had just finished but we were told that applying for our completion certificate would equate to a failure to comply and therefore we couldn’t progress. Even though all building works were pre approved in advance and when we did apply for the completion certificate were quickly approved. But I think the legal team at Better made this more complicated than it should have been. Reviewed on: 1st March 2025
