Teaches money management whilst they’re young

I wanted to find a way of encouraging my 2 teens and younger child to save. I’m amazed at the difference it has made to the teens who were spending all their allowance at shops on the way home from school. They both have healthy savings pots which allows them to save for clothes, tickets to events and driving lessons. My youngest is thrilled to have an account he can manage on his iPad and he enjoyed all the education series on the app. He loves taking his own card out to use his pin to buy his own things. I really like that it is not contactless so is safe if lost. My older boys use Apple Pay on their phones. It’s good to see where they spend their money. It opens conversations about better choices and they don’t feel I’m spying on their spending! It’s a great value learning tool. Reviewed on: 7th March 2025
