A competitive and ethical alternative...

Triodos offer a competitive and ethical alternative to the larger banks. They genuinely look after their customers far more than any other bank I've been with anywhere in the world. What I've been most impressed with and grateful for is they don't punish you when you are struggling to make a payment and don't have the funds. Most institutions fine you for being unable to pay a bill, which is just cruel albeit common practice. Triodos just inform you that you were unable to make a payment and that's it. A breath of fresh air in an otherwise heartless industry. Reviewed on: 20th March 2026
