The staff at the Stockport branch were very friendly...

The staff at the Stockport branch were very friendly and helpful. They sorted out a new passbook for me and then transferred my money into a Cash ISA, quickly and efficiently. I was, however, very disappointed that the account I had forgotten about for over 10 years, had substantial funds in and did not receive any interest. I do not understand why this happened or why the Vernon did not contact me in all this time to inform me that my money was not receiving any interest. Could you please explain this to me?
