Opening a bond

I went in to collect a form to open a bond because I couldn’t open it online. I wasn’t confident about the transfer in process as the man said I could probably only do one transfer. Which was more than my daily limit. So I ordered a cheque book and went back in. So a week later the bond I wanted had changed although it was the same rate it was a shorter term. I explained that the money would be available in my account the next day and left the form and cheque. The next day my account was classed as overdrawn as the cheque was presented straight away and debited from my account which I found very stressful. Reviewed on: 11th March 2025
