Rescued from sudden emergency vet bill!

When looking for an emergency loan, Abound came to the rescue! Our dog had to go in for emergency surgery due to a sudden illness. This was with an emergency vet during out of hours service, which is incredibly expensive. Our pet insurance wouldn't cover the cost and we were left with a bill over £3000 to cover ourselves, which was completely impossible. I searched around for a loan as quickly as I could and found Abound. They were able to provide us with a loan very quickly, and the funds were available shortly after being approved. It's been 6 months since the loan was fully paid off but I had such a good experience with Abound and can't thank them enough, as our girl is now thriving 2 years on. The interest rate was very good compared to other lenders too, so I was pleased when we were approved. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in a pickle. Reviewed on: 14th April 2026
