Review of the RCI Bank, Freedom Savings Account:

Competitive, straightforward, good customer service

I have now banked with RCI for quite a few years because their interest rates have been consistently very competitive, often market-leading. I have an easy access savings account ("Freedom Savings") and am now on my second fixed-rate bond with them. I like the fact that RCI's products are straightforward, as is the application process and moving my money in and out of the instant access saver. I had to call RCI to clarify something once, and an actual PERSON answered the phone, imagine that, and after a minimal number of "Press Option..."! Said person was not only human, but friendly, competent and knowledgeable!! So I would rate RCI highly also for their customer service - which I don't usually need because the website works perfectly well. Reviewed on: 21st March 2025
