I'm a pensioner so while I try to save some money each month I often have to dip into the pot and I can do this easily with the Freedom Savings Account. There are no penalties so I can access my money when I have an emergency. It's one less thing to worry about. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2026

I am very pleased that RCI Bank now make payments out of my savings account very promptly. I never really understood why it should take so long to access my money on request. It was a bit like putting the key in your own front door only to have to wait several days before the door would open while you had to stand in the rain outside. Reviewed on: 22nd March 2025
