Breakthrough product

Having arrived in the UK on a visa from Australia it was extremely difficult (impossible) to open a current account with any UK bank without proof of address. As I was renting privately and my rental agreement wasn't accepted as proof of address I faced a 6-7 week wait before I got my national insurance number and finally would have some proof of address to open a UK bank account. 6-7 weeks in a new country without a bank account is obviously ridiculous due to the fact that you can't work without one. Here Monese came to the rescue with their fantastic easy to use product which allowed me to open a UK bank account without proof of address. 11/10 can't recommend this company enough Reviewed on: 30th January 2019
