Cheaper than comparison sites

I checked comparison sites like Experian but I applied directly with Abound. They had better rates. But the process and speed is unreal, I think it was done within the hour. Just incredible and a customer service to match. Reviewed on: 13th April 2026

From bankruptcy to Gold card & a 943 credit score

I had an accident many years ago which left me in a coma. Needless to say it was life changing. Then I went bankrupt because the debts mounted up. After a couple of years I applied and got my Vanquis card. I used this to help build my credit score. After my bankruptcy ended, I was given the Vanquis Gold card. I now have an Experian credit score of 930 and a clear score of 943. I have other cards like Amex Gold and also platinum, Virgin, and Barclays, but I always use my Vanquis card. From the excellent security systems they have in place to the excellent and dedicated customer service, to me, it’s the best card. Just remember to pay it off in full each month!
