Simply Straightforward Starling

I'm not particularly up-to-date with technology, but opening a new starling account using only my mobile phone was plain sailing. Once your account is open the app information is clear, relevant straighforward and uncomplicated to use. I especially like the simplicity of monthly 'spending' and income page, plus the ability to set and personalise categories on your transactions. I have used the Starling Mastercard abroad and unlike any other bank they do not charge for using your card or withdrawals from a cash machine. They pay interest on current accounts and notify you immediately of any transactions made. Reviewed on: 8th February 2019
