How banking would be designed if you started with a blank sheet of paper

Starling have started with the customer, the modern customer, and have demonstrated that it is possible to design banking that suits the changing way in which people now live their lives. Bureaucracy has no hiding place here. Opening an account is quick and easy, internet banking is fast and intuitive and the customer service provision is probably the best i've experienced anywhere (not just in banking). This bank has been designed by very clever people who have viewed what banking looks like through the lens of a customer and makes the practices of other banks look archaic!
