Customer Service failure Aviva

My motor insurance policy was due for renewal and I received Aviva’s quote with a 28% increase to the premium. I spoke to a customer service representative who explained that the premium quoted was their best offer and no negotiation was possible . The line manager was apologetic and confirmed the above in an e mail..I have been a loyal Aviva customer for several years and also have a home insurance policy and pension plan with them . They were prepared to lose all the above business and I have subsequently cancelled both insurance policies and considering moving the pension plan. Exceptionally poor customer service support by Aviva. Reviewed on: 20th August 2026
