Everything just works

Everything just works, especially on the phone. Using with iPhone and Mac OS makes for a very secure system - paying friends is really easy too. Reviewed on: 20th May 2026

The best thing to do if you feel buried in debt.

The best thing to do if you feel buried in debt and cannot see a way out is to get real help - Stepchange provided the forms to help me budget and fully assess my finances and came up with a plan to pay everything off within 4 years, contact all creditors on my behalf and get a plan agreed by all of them. With annual reviews and statements, I'm always up to date and managing everything again. One and a half years into the plan, £16k of debt is down to £9.2k and looking forward to being debt free, an outcome I never thought possible. The staff are friendly, honest and realistic in all their dealings and I can't recommend them highly enough. When I contacted Stepchange and set up a plan my whole perspective changed for the better - it literally changed my life. Reviewed on: 6th May 2026

I just wish I had found Stepchange sooner

I just wish I had found Stepchange sooner - from filling in my first budget sheets to starting my debt management plan has been such a relief. I actually thought I would never be able to sort out and pay my debts - having just retired this was extremely stressful and daunting. Now I have a 52 month plan and budget which means I pay all of them and still manage to survive affordably. I have been kept informed throughout this process and cannot imagine doing this on my own - I'm so grateful to everyone at Stepchange for this opportunity to get my finances back on track.
