I was in a very bad place when my spending got out of control, due to several emotional and physical factors occurring at the same time. Spending too much became my therapy and I got into debt,so I turned to Stepchange, having heard that they were good. I was not disappointed. Right from the start they were understanding and so helpful. Basically changed my life. Helped me through everything. They were always just a phone call away which was always answered and someone extremely helpful on the other end instead of constant hassle from banks and credit card companies! They sorted out a monthly payment which I could manage. It hasn’t been easy but it is regularly reviewed and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. In 2 years time I will be debt free. I really hit rock bottom with my financial situation...

I really hit rock bottom with my financial situation but so glad I turned to Stepchange. I was really ashamed of being in so much debt but from the first phone call, they were so supportive and never judgemental. Just felt very supported and really wanted to sort it out for me.
