If you are struggling with debt speak to StepChange - I did, and I have found them to be incredibly helpful, supportive and provided me various options to support me clearing my debt, they liaised with my creditors directly so I had that pressure lifted from me and negotiated an affordable repayment plan with them on my behalf. I have found them to be very professional, supportive and none judgemental in their approach and help offered. Reviewed on: 28th May 2026
