Review of the World First Travel Insurance, Travel insurance:

Only ok to take your payment - not so good when you need them!

Used World First Travel Insurance in the past because of the good ratings and great price. When i needed to claim my damaged phone, they responded quickly and contacted relevant department for me (it appears there's another company dealing with "gadget claims" - DIRECT GROUP. But here's where the all good service ends. Unfortunately "DIRECT GROUP" is a let down. They have asked me for proof of purchase, amount paid etc. etc. After submitting all requested documents they have refused my claim beause "there's nowhere on the invoice where it says NEW" ! WHAT!?? Phoned them up and asked if they ever seen on any invoice where it says NEW? They reply was "we have right to request additional information if we are no happy with the claim" This is just nonsense! I will not leave it like this, i have all the leggit documentation and i'll do my best to get my cover! World First Travel - i have purchased insurance from you, not from "DIRECT GROUP" and i believe you should deal with it!
