We have been wasting our money for years!!!

just had our second claim rejected by LLoyds 1) garage roof was corrugated asbestos with one panel of clear polycarbonate to let light in. had very heavy snow which froze and caused a leak in the polycarbonate part of the roof. Not insured apparently...as the roof was not adequately maintained despite us having a mortgage survey on the whole property less than a year ago! signs of damp apparently are that the wood has gone darker in colour??? 2)Two bikes stolen from outside back of garage while roof is repaired (not in view of streets) bikes were chained to lifting handle on 1000 litre hot tub which weighs 1.5 tons...apparently this does not constitute a permanent structure. was told we should have had a bike rack in our back garden. My partner was sold the policy that cycles were covered as long as they were in the confines of the property...no mention of small print or having bike racks installed to meet policy requirements. feel like anything we would claim for would be rejected...
