Safe and secure!

I rarely buy goods online if the company involved does not allow PayPal payments. On the very few occasions that I have had an issue with a purchase made through PayPal, I can phone PayPal and speak to someone directly, explain my problem and they sort it out for me. I have only been disappointed once when the retailer convinced them that the issue was my fault. Reviewed on: 8th June 2026

This is why PayPal Credit is good.

I have used PayPal credit for several years now and never had an issue of any kind. You get reminders from PayPal that your payment is due if you decide you don’t want to set up a direct debit for payment. I have to say that I prefer it without the Direct Debit, simply because if I am able, I prefer to pay more than the monthly amount due, but if I’m a bit short of money for some reason, then I can pay the minimum amount for that month. The only slight drawback is that it’s easy to buy things that you would normally not get because you can’t afford it at the time, which makes it easier to ramp up how much you owe. The good part is that if you use PayPal whether it’s credit or not, if you have an issue with a purchase, PayPal are extremely good at helping you to sort things out and if necessary, get a refund for you.
