I’ve used PayPal Credit a few times now and it’s really convenient, especially for spreading the cost of bigger purchases. The option to pay later or split payments definitely helps when money’s tight, and it’s all easy to manage through PayPal. That said, it can be a bit of a trap if you’re not careful. It’s so easy to click and use that you don’t always realise how quickly it adds up. Interest can also be quite high if you don’t pay it off in time, so you do need to stay on top of it. Overall, it’s useful as a backup or for planned purchases, but I wouldn’t rely on it too much. Good tool if used properly. Reviewed on: 6th April 2026
