Caring for Others, Coping Through Life

I’ve worked as a healthcare assistant for years, often on long shifts caring for others while juggling the realities of everyday life. It’s not always easy, but I love what I do — making people feel seen, safe, and cared for. Like many key workers, I’ve faced rising living costs and unexpected expenses, but I’ve always found a way to keep going. I’ve learned how to stretch every pound, prioritise essentials, and stay positive even when money is tight.
