Poor customer care

I opened an account for my granddaughter which matures this year. I had not checked it I don't think since just after opening but tried to access it recently. On entering my details my account was immediately blocked. I spent all afternoon, spoke to four different members of staff, given four temporary passwords (two of which I later learned, did not have the correct number of characters required) and each time of trying my account was showing as blocked. I tried again for some time the following day without success. I was eventually contacted by a member of staff who did finally help me access my account and apologised for my experience. I was offered £15 as compensation and when I stated I did not think that was adequate for the stress and inconvenience I had experienced, the offer was withdrawn and I was told my complaint was not upheld! Disgusting customer care. I am definitely not happy with the experience I have had with Saffron! Reviewed on: 30th June 2025
