Absolutely avoid LLoyds Car Insurance! If you ever have to make a claim the customer service process is shocking you get passed round from pillar to post to various department of which no one can seem to help, no one wants to take ownership of your claim. You get passed from the underwriters Allianz, Lloyds, Carpenters and enterprise it really is shocking, I spoke to about 12 people in total and the call duration was approx. 2 hrs 30 mins. All they are interested in is if you make a change to the policy such as taking your private plates off your car as the car is now a write off, is to charge you an admin fee of £25, not to deal with the issue you had been on the phone for all morning!! Absolutely terrible customer service from the claims department new & existing. Avoid at all costs. Never purchase "Guaranteed Car Replacement" cover as you wont get it and no one takes ownership of sorting this out! Save your sanity! Reviewed on: 3rd July 2025
