I found the experience somewhat puzzling because I use a CaSSOA Platinum site for vehicle storage. It's key fob entry, 24 hour CCTV, on site security and patrols, and ANPR vehicle entry. And yet despite all of this, it made no difference to my insurance quote whatsoever. I said to the agent "so, if I parked my vehicle outside my house, it'd make no difference then?" to which they replied "essentially yes", Which does make me wonder why I pay over 1K a year for CaSSOA then ! I believe the underwriting needs to be reviewed from Dewitt, because other companies will offer a reduction in premium if the customer can evidence steps to protect the vehicle.
